The Golden Valley Orchestra (GVO) was established as a reading orchestra in the late 1970's at Golden Valley Lutheran College. Today the GVO is one of Minnesota's oldest community orchestras. Made up of amateur and semi-professional musicians, the GVO presents 4 to 6 concerts per year, including community outreach and non-public performances at care facilities.
